Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of strms.link, a smart link service for music releases run by an individual developer (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use strms.link.

1. Free beta, provided “as is”

strms.link is an early, free beta. Features may change, break or disappear, and the service may be unavailable at times. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability or accuracy of analytics. Please keep your own copies of anything important.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old and give a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at contact@strms.link if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use strms.link to:

• phish, distribute malware, or redirect visitors to deceptive or harmful sites;
• impersonate an artist, label or anyone else, or mislead visitors about who is behind a page;
• publish content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
• publish illegal, hateful or sexually explicit content;
• send spam or artificially inflate views and clicks;
• attack, overload, scrape or try to bypass the security or limits of the service.

We may remove pages, reassign slugs, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules or put visitors or the service at risk, with or without notice. To report abuse, write to contact@strms.link.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add to strms.link, such as titles, artwork, links and page settings. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the service, for example to show your pages to visitors and generate previews. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups kept for a limited time. You confirm you have the rights to the content you publish.

5. Tracking on your pages

If you enable advertising pixels or conversion APIs (such as Meta or TikTok) on your pages, you are responsible for complying with those providers’ terms and with privacy laws that apply to you, including obtaining consent from visitors where required.

6. Third-party services

Smartlink pages point to services such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer and others. strms.link is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them; their names and logos belong to their owners. We are not responsible for third-party services, their content or their availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use strms.link. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to EUR 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Termination

You can stop using strms.link and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time; where reasonable we will give notice so you can update your links.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
